The Outlaw Flat Four Drag Racing Club was officially formed in January 2006 by a number of people who were looking to do something a little different with VW racing. All of those involved are either racers or are very closely associated with racing. The focus will be on heads-up racing between cars powered by VW flat four pushrod based engines capable of running 12.99 and faster. The club is open to any full bodied vehicle including Buggies. Initially there are no plans to change this but Rails, Slingshots and other similar vehicles may be considered on a case by case basis in the future. Though there is a competitive element to the racing the emphasis is on having fun with the cars. As such we're also going to be taking on other parts of the UK racing community so you can expect some exciting and varied action.
